Depending on how many rooms the client is looking for you may spend a bit of time doing this. Determining amount of Paint Needed:
- One general assumption is that one gallon of paint will equate to 400square feet of area. This may not take into account other factors such as non-smooth surfaces and different shapes with lots of curves and slants. They will require more paint than an average four walled room as although they do not add to the determined overall area they do involve extra spaces. The amount of area you will cover then per gallon will be less than previously estimated so will result in extra purchases.
